How to Draw 6 Sigma DMAIC Process Models in PowerPoint

DMAIC is the most common 6 Sigma process model. In this video, you will learn how to create this circular process model.

To create this DMAIC model, we will follow these steps:

To start with, we will add a Segmented Cycle Diagram from SmartArt Tool
This cycle contains only 3 segments. So you need to add 2 more segments by adding more text.
Next change colors in SmartArt Tools
Then convert the SmartArt graphic to a collection of autoshapes
You may find that one of the segments has gone awry. This is an issue with PowerPoint.
To deal with the problematic segment, ungroup the shape
Delete the incorrect segment
Duplicate one of the other pie segments
Rotate the segment to ensure it is placed correctly
Group the segments and arrows
Add a circle in the center of the segments
Fill the circle with White color and remove background
Align the Circle and the Grouped Segments
Add the text you need to label the stages of the 6 Sigma model.
